What is Docunext?

Docunext is a website for taking notes about technology at large, with a general focus towards open source software, including Debian, GNU/Linux, CentOS, FreeBSD, Networking, The Internet, Email, DNS, TCP/IP, PHP, Perl, Webkit, Python, Ruby, Javascript, JQuery, OpenVZ, Apache, NFS, NGINX, MySQL, Spam, C, XSLT, XML, Git, LDAP etc.

It is highly disorganized, but attempts to be as comprehensive as possible in reflecting the use, exploration, and tinkering of a few individuals.

We have the Docunext Tech Stuff Blog of course, this wiki (which is just recently back from hiding), and have plans to add a bunch more stuff, including some file repositories and development tools.

Docunext Wiki

This wiki is not accepting any external, original, contributions at the moment until we figure out the best way to combat spam and deal with copyright issues. While we figure that out, we may decide to only allow comments and corrections, but no original authorship. The issue as I see it is how to manage copyrights. We copyright all the content here and reserve all rights. Unfortunately, the internet doesn't seem to fit well into existing US copyright laws, or beyond. You are welcome to join the forums or comment on our blog posts though.

You can login with an OpenID account and feel free to fix typos or correct my mistakes. Thanks!!
