Its a free Flash player, and is on the list of high priority open source projects. I have a fair amount of experience with Flash from the mind projects, and developing my own Flash stuff, so I might be able to help out.
I'm installing Gnash now on Debian sid. Yeah! It plays my locus movie perfectly!
I just installed the mozilla plugin, and while it still plays the locus movia well, it won't play the squigs video via flowplayer. Hmmm.
